PENINSULA REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM ACQUIRES PENINSULA NEUROSURGICAL ASSOCIATES, P.A.

The Peninsula Regional Health System in Salisbury, Maryland today announced the acquisition of Peninsula Neurosurgical Associates, P.A., also of Salisbury.

The new practice, to be called Peninsula Regional Neurosurgery, will remain at its current location at 540 Snow Hill Road in Salisbury.

“Peninsula Neurosurgery has been the recognized leader in neurosurgical services on Delmarva for many years and we are very pleased and proud to announce their addition to the Peninsula Regional Medical Group,” said Thomas Lawrence, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. “Their addition will ensure the continuation of high quality neurosurgical services for our community for the foreseeable future.”

The practice, its physicians and staff will become part of the Peninsula Regional Medical Group, which currently employs physicians and mid level providers in Family Practice, Hematology and Oncology, Gastroenterology, Occupational Medicine & Urgent Care, Cardiovascular Surgery and Hospitalists at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
