Big news out of the city council in Salisbury tonight is that the council soundly rejected the proposal by City Council President to limit the information provided to council members directly by city agencies.

This is a huge win for the citizens of Salisbury.

Do you remember that airspace incursion about a week or so ago where the Syrians claimed they "scared off" some Isreali F-15s and all of a sudden Israel became real silent?

The Sunday Times has a very interesting article that posits the hypothesis that the Israeli F-15s actually destroyed a secret Syrian nuke facility about 50 miles from the Iraqi border.  Not only that-- but the facility was laser targeted by IDF Special Forces that had landed just hours earlier.

If they did, good for them!  I tip my bourbon to the IDF.

If they didn't, good for them too, for making everyone think they did.

If you live up in Northern Maryland, you are no doubt familiar with the last remaining gas station in Maryland Line.  It was featured in the hilarious movie "Guarding Tess" starring Nick Cage and Shirley McClain.

There is a new deli/restaurant in the little store called Fill Er' Up.  I eat there for lunch a couple of times a month.  The sandwiches and sides are great, if not a little pricey, but the helpings are various generous.

However, the Pizza is HORRIBLE.  I think the problem is the oven.  It leaves a carboard taste in the dough that is repulsive.  And the use of whole milk mozzarella on frozen dough is a really bad combination.

My recommendation:  stick to the sandwiches and subs, and avoid the pizza at all costs.

During General Petreaus' testimony before the United States Senate, Senator Hillary Clinton claimed that listening to the general's testimony required a "willing suspension of disbelief".

This is code.  What that phrase means is that Senator Hillary Clinton believes that the general is lying.
