You ain't seen nothing yet
B-B-B-Baby you just ain't seen n-n-n-nothing yet
Here's something that your never gonna forget
B-B-B-Baby you just ain't seen n-n-n-nothing yet
If you thought George W. Bush was a disaster for America before, you haven't seen anything yet. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, following 43's orders to just "do something" about subprime loan clusterfuck (note: I said clusterfuck, not crisis), is about to potentially put US taxpayers on the hook for a hell of a lot more money.

I was watching State Circle with Jeff Salkin on PBS last Thursday night (yes, conservatives do watch PBS... hey, we pay for it, too.) and I had to listen to Senate President Thomas "Mike" "Man Perm" Miller talk.
Rarely in state politics do you hear one man speak so many so words, but say so little with so little meaning.

Now that the slots hurdle has been half-cleared through the fourth-quarter punt by the General Assembly, it was only a matter of time before the "casino" wardrums started beating.
And they are banging like drum corps, according to O'Malley Gazette.

There was an amazing article in The Baltimore Sun yesterday. I am not sure the editors even understood what they were writing. They certainly could not have intended for it to read the way I read it.

One of O'Guvnah's favorite tools to spur "economic development" when he was Mayor of Baltimore was the use of tax abatements and property tax breaks to prompt corporations to keep their headquarters (or at least major operations) in the City of Baltimore.

I was a long time Comcast TV customer -- 10 years -- until last Wednesday, when I finally made the switch and had DirecTV installed at my house.
To sum up my experience: Holy Crap! Why didn't I do this years ago?

In all the cultural battles with Islamic extremism, todays modern feminists are nowhere to be found. Why is that?
I find it appalling that these so-called "pro-woman" organizations and leaders cannot find the courage to attack a culture that promotes that notion that women are property and practices the culture of "honor killings".

In Part II of Starve The Beast, I want to focus on "interacting with government". But not in a normal take.
