Has anyone realized the new $111 million financing package to help subprime lenders proposed by Marty the Mick O'Malley?  I think there are some interesting aspects here that should be investigated.

The Calvert Street Communist Party Newsletter has an item today titled "Purses, stakes races reduced at Maryland tracks".

Of course, the first thing everyone blamed was a lack of slots at race tracks. But is that the whole story?

Remember the outrage when former Governor Bobby Ehrlich decided to start cleaning out state agencies of Democrat appointees in early 2003?  There were hearings, and investigations, and subpoenas.  The Calvert Street Communist Party Newsletter went apeshit.  In the end, we learned... nothing. Well, we learned that the governor was within his rights and the law to remove non-civil service employees with any means he deemed necessary.

And it seems that the new kid in town might be up to the same old tricks...

The news that Marty the Mick has appointed Baltimore County Police Chief Terrence Sheridan  as MSP Superintendent is bad news for Baltimore County, and worse news for the State of Maryland.

In the clearest sign yet that liberal lawyers could not find their ass with both hands, a flashlight, and a roadmap, Peter Franchot is now launching an all-out assault on the oil companies. 

I think Peter should really take a course in economics before he goes off on this great crusade, wasting Marylander's tax money on a case that will go nowhere.
