This Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 11 am, Peninsula Regional Medical Center will unveil its newest tool in community outreach and occupational health services, the Wagner Wellness Van.  The Wagner Wellness Van is named in honor of my stepmother, Debra J. Wagner, R.N, who passed away on December 23, 2006 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

Debbie was a 30-year veteran of Peninsula Regional Medical Center, and the Wagner Wellness Van is a fitting and just memorial to her committment to the community, outreach, and health care on the Lower Eastern Shore.

See pictures of the van below the fold, and don't forget to join us for the dedication at 11pm this Thursday.  I think we will be on the west side of the Education Center.

Apparently there is yet ANOTHER recall movement afoot in Salisbury, this time targetted at ousting the Mayor (Barrie Tilghman), Council President "Louweasal" Smith, and Councilman Gary "Bubba" Comegys. As if the recall movement to repeal the property tax increase was so phenomenally successful.

Could there be a greater waste of time or money?

Mahmoud Albero, Southwest Delaware's leading Cyberterrorist, regularly likes to jump all over people who he thinks violate his copyright.

So what does he do?  He goes and completely lifts an entire AP release, and posts it on his site without link or attribution.

Once all the cheering from the defeat of the Crooked Oak Lane project dies down, Gary Mackes should start collecting boxes.  He is no doubt a dead man walking.

Okay, I have received a somewhat cryptic email from one of those "temporary addresses" you can use to prevent getting spammed, so I can't confirm any of this information.  And since I have been known, on occasion, to refer to the Mayor of Salisbury as a "ratfucker", I don't think I can get confirmation there, either.

The jist of the email is this:  Royal Farms has more or less bailed on the location at this point because the City of Salisbury is looking for $300,000 (yes that is THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS)  for improvements to the intersection of Pemberton Drive and Parsons Road.

This is an update to my earlier post about the dedication for the Wagner Wellness Van.  The dedication is at 11:30 am, and the van will be parked on the FRONT side of the Education Center.

I hope to see you all there.

Well, I am in the 'Bury (that's Salisbury for you Western Shore Frogs) tonight, enjoying some fine 101 proof Wild Turkey.

If you get a chance, don't forget to come out to the dedication ceremony for the Wagner Wellness Van tomorrow.  We'll be in front of the Education Center at 11:30am.

If you are there, stop by and say hi.  It will be great to meet some of my readers.  And if you don't know who I am, look for the cute kids.  They are my niece (Reagan) and nephew (Brayden).  If they are raising hell, I am sure to be close by.

Does anybody know what happened to the Royal Farms that was planned for the corner of Pemberton Drive and Parsons Road in Salisbury?  For the longest time there was a "coming soon" sign.  Now there is nothing.  Did Royal Farms fall victim to Mayor Tilghman's assinine and retarded approach to small business development in Salisbury?

Or did they decide that competing with the 7-11 and GordyMart up the street wasn't worth the trouble?

Mahmoud Hizbeen Farteen Albero has been snoped again.  His post "CHP v USMC" is total bullshit. An urban legend.  Complete poppycock.

See here.

Yeah, that's Salisbury's Most Valued News Source:  complete fiction and made up stories.  From what I heard, the Delaware Dumbass will feature a post tomorrow about how you can claim millions from a Nigerian widow.
