In a move that is not wholly unexpected, States Attorneys Davis Ruark (Wicomico) and Scott Shellenberger (Baltimore County) have endorsed Frank Kratovil over Andy Harris for the seat in the 1st Congressional District. The latest endorsement -- part of a package endorsement by seventeen other States Attorneys in Maryland -- is a finger in the eye to Andy Harris' most prolific supporter, the convicted perjurer and woman beater I call Sebaceous Puss (aka Jihad Joe Albero).
I have to applaud his willingness to stand up to the withering criticism that will flow from the Sebaceous Puss Pool and The Carbuncles.
I am no fan of Kratovil, and luckily, I don't have to make the choice. I live in the 6th District. But I think that electing Andy Harris to Congress-- a man who has chosen to associate himself with an out-of-state perjurer, cyberterrrorist, and stalker -- would be dreadful for the 1st. It would send the wrong message about judgement, character, and choices.
Davis Ruark should be applauded for standing up against the candidacy of a man that is so fundamentally foreign to the values of Maryland's great Eastern Shore.
