The Maryland Board of Physicians has summarily suspended the medical license of one Mahmaud Shirazi, license number D46962 of Peninsula Internal Medicine, LLC.

No wonder...

According to the website (https://www.mbp.state.md.us), the former physician's license was

SUMMARY SUSPENSION. THE BOARD CONCLUDED THAT THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, OR WELFARE IMPERATIVELY REQUIRED EMERGENCY ACTION BASED ON THE INVESTIGATORY INFORMATION THAT THE PHYSICIAN INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHED THREE FEMALE PATIENTS IN A SEXUAL MANNER.

The complaint was filed with the Board on May 1, 2007, after they were notified by the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation.  Peninsula Regional Medical Center summarily suspended his privileges on May 3, 2007 according to the report.

The pervert has been charged with at least a third and fourth degree sexual assault, and second degree assault stemming from a November 2006 office visit.  During that visit, the pervert apparently ground his erect penis on the buttocks of what the report as Patient A, in addition to his fake pelvic exam.

Peninsula Internal Medicine terminated the pervert on or about May 2, 2007 after "multiple complaints of sexual contact and unprofessional behavior" according to the report.

There were at least three patients that the Board uncovered through its investigation.  Patient C's allegations go back to an incident in 2005.
