In an article on a dry oil well drilled outside of Salisbury many, many years ago, the Jihadi claims that they drilled to a level of 43,000 feet. When you read the original source article, you find the amount was much less than that. But common sense would also declare that when this well was drilled -- sometime before January 1946 -- the technology didn't even exist to drill OVER 7 MILES DEEP. Moreover, you would encounter bedrock well before 7 MILES DEEP.
In fact, the deepest well ever drilled was 30,000 feet below the sea floor in the Gulf of Mexico. It is Chevron's Knotty Head well, about 170 miles southwest of New Orleans.
It just goes to show you the low value of a Bronx, NY education: your young skull full of mush becomes an old skull full of shit.
