The ChiCom Games are over, and Michael Phelps will certainly be lauded in Rogers Forge for his amazing accomplishment.  But we should never forget that those gold medals were forged in a crucible of blood, fear, and tyranny, and that they were won on crushed bones and torn flesh of millions of Chinese -- born and unborn -- who dared not to tow the facist, totalitarian line of the modern China founded by a pedophile.

I think Sharon Horn of Human Rights in China says it best:

The Chinese authorities have blatantly and successfully used the Games to achieve political goals—putting the international community on notice that China is a powerful gold-medal state and stoking patriotism and national pride among countless Chinese.

You can read the entire report from Human Rights in China here.

And in case you are wondering, no, I will not be attending the parade to honor Michael Phelps.  While his accomplishments are amazing, the venue of those accomplishments is deplorable. And yes, had I been alive in 1936, I would have said the same thing about the Berlin Olympics and Jesse Owens.

The International Olympic Committee has given succor and cover to the most totalitarian government on the planet, and has made a mockery of the ideals of the games.  Those colored rings mean nothing more to me than the collective IQ of the IOC.
