Readers of my missives would not be surprised to know that I am no great fan of Senator John McCain. And as we get closer to the election, my lackluster feelings for the author of McCain-Feingold only grow. Quite frankly, if I have to listen to another "my friends" again, I might be forced to turn it into a drinking game.
Oh Wait. Someone's already done that.
I will not catalog every single point about John McCain that makes we want to stay home on election day. But there is one that I think it is important.
The McCain Campaign is being very slow to invite Vice President Cheney to speak at the Republican National Convention. If anyone on the McCain campaign thinks this is actually a good idea, let me tell you one thing:
I would take a crap on your boss's face before I would vote for him if he thinks boxing Dick Cheney out of the convention is a good idea. You better start worrying about mobilizing some members of your base (like me) who like Dick Cheney, and don't think much of you. Because I can easily sit at home on Election Day and laugh at you lose.
