There will be NO Olympics in this house this year.

I cannot, in good conscience, support the International Olympic Committee and its 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  The government of the so-called People's Republic of China is an anti-moral, despicable, mysognistic tyranny that engages in the wholesale genocide of its people. They deny even the basic human rights to their citizens.  And their leaders are nothing more than an octogenarian collection of Sopranos-like thugs and murderers.

The Olympics are supposed to be a noble event, celebrating team and individual achievement, freedom, and the condition of the human soul.  There are few countries on this planet that do more to do diminish individual achievement, squash freedom, and destroy the human soul than the People's Republic of China.  To give that thuggish criminal enterprise the world stage of international approval in such a venue is monstrous mockery of everything the Olympics should represent.

The Politburo of the PRC has killed over 30 million people since 1945, and continues an ongoing genocide against women that is monstrous and hateful.  Their one-child policy affects women the worst, as most families use sex-selection techniques to abort unless the child is a boy. Why?  Well, Chinese women have little if any real "rights" or "power" in that society.  And that means that parents have to consider who could provide for and take care of them in their later years... and the culture says that means "boy", not "girl".

There is absolutely no nobility, or honor, in the government of the PRC.  And I won't watch any Olympics they host.
