Presto Pundit has a great post on Comrade Obama's fascist plan for "mandatory" voluntary service.
Going well beyond what his facist fellow travelers here in Maryland accomplished years ago in public schools, Comrade Obama would use the might and power of federal funding to turn our nation from a collection of citizens to a collection of slaves.
On this Independence Day, I can only say "DONT TREAD ON ME". DO NOT EVER TELL ME OR MY FAMILY that I must perform voluntary public service. DO NOT EVER TELL ME OR MY FAMILY how I should spend my free time.
There is nothing more fascist that the state telling the people they must volunteer for the benefit of the "general will". This isn't the road to serfdom, as Presto Pundit points out. It is the road to serfdom.
A little revolution might be in order.
