Mahmoud Joe Albero Genovese, the notorious cyberterrorist and blackmailing bastard of Southwest Delaware, and one known to "cower in the shower", loves to brag (or is it bray? as in, like a jackass) about all the businesses he has owned.
Earlier this month, we blogged about his vast "land empire" in and around the burg of Pittsville, noting that yet another "Cower in the Shower" enterprise -- Albero Enterprises, LLC -- had joined Illumination Technologies in the pit of forfeited business licenses in Maryland for failure to properly file appropriate tax information.
It turns out it didn't start there.
Back in 2007, "Cower in the Shower" posted the following on an Eastern Shore blog in relation to Keno:
As for the Keno, the name of the business was "Chalk Talk" T/A Crofton Billiards. The other business I owned at the time that started a day later was "Happy Days Cafe" T/A R.E.P.G. Restaurant & Entertainment Planning Group. I was in fact the first Keno account in the State. Now you even have business names to follow it through, if you so choose.
Well, I did decide to follow up. It turns out Chalk Talk, Inc forfeited its incorporation in 1997 for -- once again, yes, failure to file a personal property tax return. And not only that, Chalk Talk, Inc wasn't "owned by "Cower in the Shower", but it was also owned by one Thomas J. Kiernan. And guess what, Kiernan was a partner in REPG, Inc., too. And both businesses, plus Kiernan, sued "Cower in the Shower" in 1997. The case file is quite lengthy. It looks like Kiernan's attorneys -- in finally obtaining a consent settlement -- threw the kitchen sink at "Cower in the Shower", issuing subpoenas duces tucum at every lender available. Duces tucum is latin for "under penalty of punishment". In other words, these weren't normal depositions. Someone was really pissed.
As for "Cower in the Shower's" claim to be the first Keno establishment, well, that is a lie, too. I called the Maryland State Lottery. The first Keno machine kicked off at Crabtowne, USA in 1993. Better go hide in the shower, again, Mahmoud.
As for REPG, Inc... well, that business forfeited its state license in 2006 for, once again, failure to file a personal property tax return.
So let's see... that is four businesses that have consistently failed to properly file required tax documentation in this state, lies about his role in the lottery, and another lawsuit or two. Some great businessman, eh?
