The Wild Turkey Fax actually rang this afternoon, and across the wires were some of the threats that Delaware's Most Celebrated Cyber-Terrorist has been throwing around as part of his jihad to cleanse the DelMarVa Peninsula of all the Pro-Maryland Bloggers.
I was pretty astonished at the content of the notices. Its clear that any legal counsel he does (ineffectual at that!, given this morning's happenings) didn't spend a lot of time helping with this. Although the prose is better than his average post on Salisbury News, I would be surprised that his counsel would let him engage in threats and extortion.
I am not going to reprint the message in its entirety in order to protect the innocent (or the less guilty), but I thought I might reprint some excerpts:
I'm going to make this very plain and simple. You have until midnight to completely shut down your ******* Blog or I will deliver Mike Lewis, Davis Ruark and my Attorneys complete back up files of your Site since the day you started it.
Well, if Mike Lewis and Davis Ruark do anything with it other circular file the so-called backups, I would be surprised. No criminal laws have been broken. In fact, threatening a criminal complaint to achieve a desired result is extortion in the State of Maryland. Maybe the bloggers should contact Mike and Davis. If Davis is back from his Christian Marriage Counseling Retreat in Boone, Tennessee, yet.
I will also inform you that if we find your IP Address on any comment or post ANYWHERE from this point forward on any other Blog Site other than this one, I will use my 2 year statute of limitation against you to sue you and your Family for defamation and slander.
Yeah, umm. This statement is living proof that the NY educational system is an abysmal failure. You cannot deprive someone of their constitutional rights without them being guilty of a felony. And even then, there must be a compelling state interest involved. For example, were the blogger in question a "hacker", a JUDGE could order them to not own, use, or possess a computer. But Mahmoud Hizbeen Farteen Albero can't do dick, and no judge in a civil suit would issue such an order.
Then my Wife and Grandson will also sue you independently and seek $2,000,000.00 in damages. There is a sample case in Florida, you can take time to look it up.
Okay, obviously Mahmoud's attorney hasn't explained the law to him. Mrs. Mahmoud and Mahmoud the Younger would have to be able to prove DAMAGES in order to bring a suit of defamation or libel. Given that Mahmoud will most certainly be using this in his defenses against the Mayor and the Chief, one would think he could translate that. And, if it is such a simple case in Florida, why doesn't he cite it?
I swear to God, if you do NOT follow these instructions you will regret it for the rest of your life.
First, I am pretty sure God doesn't care. I checked my Holman's Exhaustive Concordance, and the Bible doesn't use the word Internet, Blog, Webblog, or anything like that. Second, this statement is a clear threat. Regret how? Were this letter sent to me, I might think about calling the Sheriff myself. This is at least as scary as some guy knocking on the door. Wait... I need to go hide in the shower.
You will become front page news in The Daily Times and all over 16 & 47 News. Your Family will have to deal with what you have done, who you truly are as well as your friends and neighbors. Your posts will be exposed to the World at that point and everything you have said and done. It will be exposed that you allowed comments about our Grandson and you can believe one thing, it will get very ugly.
"Get ugly"? Mahmoud's obsession is so ugly he hired a computer forensics company to track down who these people were. As for Salisbury news outlets covering this, you've got to be kidding. They couldn't cover a Tupperware storage container at a saran-wrap convention. And since Mahmoud documents the complete inability of the Daily Times to even print, much less deliver, a paper -- who will read it?
You have a mental condition that needs to be researched and worked on, seriously. Anyone who does what you have done has some screws loose and just ask an attorney, with all the evidence I now have against you, you could go to jail, you could easily be sued and you cannot afford to defend a multi million dollar lawsuit, it will break you, trust me.

And does anyone really think that Mahmoud has incurred "millions of dollars" in damages? One doesn't think so, since the Cheif and the Mayor will clearly lay out what worthless waste of skin and oxygen he is.
So shut it down immediately. If I go there in the morning and see the Site up, I will meet with Mike and Davis first and then walk right over to my attorneys with the disk and the ball will start rolling.
Uhh, yeah. Davis Ruark is too busy making sure he doesn't lose his law license. Mike Lewis wishes he had that ring from Lord of the Rings where he could just disappear anytime you walk into the room.
The company I have hired has traced you, your IP Address and can access anything and everything they want coming from your computer. You're nailed, period.

So ends my commentary. As you can see, threats, extortion, meglomania. it's like Ahmadinejad moved from Tehran to Delmar, but left the nuclear weapons behind.
One other thing: a little Wild Turkey told me that Mahmoud has been wasting people's time bugging the Delmar Fire Department as to why they haven't done anything about Wayne Barrall. Apparently, they are getting sick of his crap, too.
