Hillary Clinton is now trying to claim "mea culpa" on the entire Tuzla/Landing up sniper fire nonsense.

It seems like she actually has learned something from her experience as First Lady:  it's better to apologize fast than lie long.

But is such a shoddy memory a good quality in a Presidential Candidate?

Better yet, what does it do to her claims of "experience"?

Well, combined with her claims of being a key part of the Northern Island peace process, its pretty damaging.

All in all, its been a bad couple of weeks for the Democrat candidates.

For me, it raises this question:  is this the best the Democrat party has?

Between Barack supporting -- financially and otherwise -- a race-baiting conspiratorial racist, sex scandals with the rising stars Eliot Spitzer, David Paterson, and Kwame Kilpatrick and now Hillary's mis-recollection of activities that never occurred, one must wonder who is running the show in the Democrat Party.

In a year where the Democrats SHOULD trounce the Republicans-- unpopular war, credit meltdown, spiralling energy prices, souring economy, imploding housing market -- one has ask if the Democrats will once again seize defeat from the jaws of victory.
