I'm in the middle of a little tete-a-tete with an eBay vendor called "quikdropfloco".
A couple of weeks ago, I bid on and won a Linsksys WV54G VPN router. I paid immediately (literally, about 5 mins after the auction ended) , but it took about 4 days for them to process the payment.
But that wasn't the end...
When I finally received the product (long after their promised "3 days"), it was incomplete. While the description of the item said "everything in the box", it lacked the driver disk, the manual, and most importantly-- THE POWER SUPPLY.
They ignored the couple of messages I sent through eBay, so I filed a grievance with PayPal -- hey, that got their attention.
Here is their excuse:
"We are a quikdrop store we sell items for owners on ebay, the owner will be contacted about the power supply, what is the voltage you need, he has some that say linksys, if not I will call Linksys to find out. I am really sorry about this. If it can't be resolved in a few dsys I will issue a refund, thanks QD"
Keep this in mind if you bid on ebay regularly-- QuickDrop stores DO NOT CHECK the contents they are putting up for sale on behalf of people.
I'll keep everyone apprised on how this turns out...
