Did you know that O'Guvnah was a HUGE Beatle's fan? It turns out that he LOVES the Beatles. It turns out that the Beatles love him, too. Well, at least George Harrison and John Lennon, do. Back in the days when J. Millard Tawes ruled the roost in Soddom on the Severn, John and George were composing their one and only love song to the future O'Guvnah:

O'Guvnah is not just thy despot's heel, he is THE TAXMAN!
As Rick Impallaria implied in his press release (see here), O'Guvnah is planning MORE taxes for the state, working through his Dark Servants.

HB 101 – Martin O’Malley — BUDGET RECONCILIATION AND FINANCING ACT OF 2008
HB 125 – Delegate Hixson — PROPERTY TAX – CHARTER COUNTIES – LIMITS
HB 178 – Delegate Barve – MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS – HOTEL RENTAL TAX
SB 131 – Senator King — MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS – HOTEL RENTAL TAX
Hixson's is the most dangerous. It allows county governments to exceed their revenue caps with a 2/3 vote by the county councils. This completely overrides the intent of the voters in putting those revenue caps on government in the first place. It turns out that the DEMOCRAT Party has no use for Democracy.
Watch out because the TAXMAN is coming, and aside from Del. Rick Impallaria, there are NO Republicans in the House of Delegates willing to stand up to him.
