I was a long time Comcast TV customer -- 10 years -- until last Wednesday, when I finally made the switch and had DirecTV installed at my house.

To sum up my experience:  Holy Crap! Why didn't I do this years ago?

Now, let me be clear: I love my Comcast Broadband Internet.  Never had a problem with the price or the service.

But TV is an entirely different issue.  I've seen Comcast continually add new charges for crappier programming, take away popular channels (Like the NFL Network) and replace them with crap (Logo, Oxygen).  Then they sued NFL Network for promoting Dish and DirecTV as options to get NFL Network.

So they wanted to use my subscription fees to fund a lawsuit against a network I actually had in my Digital Cable, but they took away?

Then the price increases came through in December.

I said, "Enough".

Now my only problem is learning all the new channel numbers.
