Gotta take umbrage with that. President Wilson was the first in a long line of interventionists that helped turn the 20th century into a global bloodbath.
Had we not been so cozy with the Brits, the collarteral dmage from U boats would not have included so many Americans and Woodrow would not have been provided so convenient an excuse to do what he wanted to do all along.
If we had stayed out, the Europeans would likely have stalemated and the Germans would not have been humiliated at Versailles - hence, no rise of Hitler, no WW2 and probably no Soviet Union (the Germans defeated Russia in 1918)

Take it even further - no artificial partition of the Middle East by the Western powers. That's been a major cause of some of the mess over there in the past 60 years.

As illustrated by our present foreign policy conduct, we have learned nothing from Wilson's foolishness.
