A lot has been made over the most disgraceful behavior of the attendees of the Miss Universe Contest in Mexico this past week. The talking heads have gone particularly bonko over it.

I say "so what?"

The fact is, only morons hate America.  The other fact is that America has done more for more people around the world in its brief existence than almost any other nation on the planet.  The one exception I will highlight is Great Britain.  It was Great Britain who gave words and force to the abolition of slavery in the 19th century.

I think we should be exalting Miss America for the incredible grace and poise she showed during the entire event -- even after went ass over teakettle in high heels.  That young lady should make every American proud for the way she handled herself-- even during the harshest catcalls and boos.

And we should also take this as a lesson:  if Mexicans hate America so bad, why do so many of them want to come here?

Miss America, through her grace and poise, showed us what it is like to be an American lady, and she ranks high praise and admiration in my book.

Let the Mexicans have Mexico.
