Ever since Hillary Clinton's doublespeak debate event last week over NY Governor Eliot Spitzer's new "Driver's Licenses for Illegals" program, there has been much said about the complete lunacy behind such programs. Why? Well, thanks to the left's vaunted "Motor Voter" act in the 90's, states are now REQUIRED to provide voter applications to anyone granted a driver's license.
Smart people immediately realize the danger here: if you give a driver's license to anyone who wants one, and you don't verify their legality, then you open the voter registration rolls to all sorts of corruption.
The Left in this country says "oh no you don't." Unfortunately, you do. As we found out after 9/11...
It turns out that EIGHT of the 9/11 terrorists were registered to vote.

Pro-Spitzer supporters (and Hillary Supporters too!) argue that we need everyone to have a driver's license so we know who they are. Of course, if they lie about their identity to get the drivers license -- something any illegal immigrant must do -- then we really don't know who they are.
Moreover, just become some moron has a driver's license doesn't mean they are a good driver. It just means they have engaged in the time-honored ritual of purchasing the privilege of operating a motor vehicle.
That's right, operating a motor vehicle is not a right. It is a purchased privilege. And states must do everything they can to only grant that privilege to legal residents and citizens. The stakes are too high.
With a driver's license, you can get on a plane. You can rent a vehicle. You can open bank accounts. And now, you can register to vote.
Do we really need any more corruption in our electoral system?
The left gets their panties all in a twist over alleged voter intimidation, but they have no indignation when their are people illegally allowed to vote. They scream to the heavens about one man, one vote. But where is their anger when proper votes are diluted by those of illegals?
EIGHT terrorists were registered to vote. How many elections are corrupted every year by the millions of illegals who might be registered and shouldn't be?
