The word is out that Dennis the Menace plans to introduce a resolution next week in the House of Representatives to impace Vice President Dick Cheney.

Fresh off his claim that he saw a UFO while travelling to visit Shirley Maclaine back in the 80's, Dennis the Menace plans to move for the impeachment of the Vice President.

He has not provided any specific charges, other than he doesn't like the fact that the Vice President believes in a strong, assertive Executive Branch.  One might have thought that -- since Dick has espoused these beliefs going back to 1975 -- the fact that the American people spoke in 2004, he would get the drift.

Apparently not, because he has 21 other Stupid Politicians on board including Maryland's own Albert Wynn:

Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI)
Rep. Robert Brady (D-PA)
Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY)
Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-MO)
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN)
Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN)
Rep. Sam Farr (D-CA)
Rep. Bob Filner (D-CA)
Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX)
Rep. Henry Johnson (D-GA)
Rep. Carolyn Kilpatrick (D-MI)
Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA)
Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA)
Rep. James Moran (D-VA)
Rep. Donald Payne (D-NJ)
Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL)
Rep. Edolphus Towns (D-NY)
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)
Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA)
Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-CA)
Rep. Albert Wynn (D-MD).
