What Really Happened at Haditha?

Well, it was no My Lai.  And Fat Jack Murtha has it wrong.

The Wall Street Journal has the chronology here.

This was an injustice on many levels.
The antiwar left is more anti-conservative than antiwar, otherwise, they would draw some distinctions between that policies that lead us to get into these messes and the military who executes the mission.
I originally thought Murtha might be a principled anti-war Democrat, given his background, but he has since proven otherwise.
You would think by now that those who are truly against the war would realize that exploiting incidents like this to advance their cause is totally counterproductive.

But that assumes that their motivations are to end the war.
I would contend that that is not their motivation at all - they just want to make political points, and the war is just one more arrow in their quiver.

Children are another.
And "poverty" is another.

Anyone who is antiwar and votes democrat because of it is being taken for a sucker.

If you are truly against this war and want to express it withour undermining our military, you must see that Ron Paul (R-Texas) is elected president. He has gotten the vote of our men and women in uniform already by virtue of receiving the most money in donations from them.
