Runaround Sue keeps pushing the lies. In a comment to my post here, Runaround Sue continues to push this notion that I sent the "real fightin4th" a two page letter.
Here is the exact text of the mail I sent to Chris Rathel on 8/1/2007 at 11:30pm:
Chris,
I read your blog post on classyjoealbero.blogspot.com. My name is Tim Patterson, and I blog at www.gunpowderchronicle.com. For full disclosure, yes, my father is Bruce Patterson, the Director of Facilities Management, Safety and Security at PRMC.
I would like to invite you -- at your discretion and desire -- to post over at www.gunpowderchronicle.com. You can provide me full attributable posts fully on the record, or information on background. It is entirely your choice. I only ask that you clearly identify in your email which circumstance you choose.
A decision not to provide anything will NOT result in me targetting you or any other firefighters. I don't play those games.
Even I do not disagree with what you have to post, if you have information that you can provide verification for, I will be happy to post it.

Hardly a two page letter, and not a scam. You keep throwing around those lies Runaround Sue, and someone with more money than even you might deicde to take you down a notch -- and win.
The simple fact, Runaround Sue, is that you are a liar. You lie about your statistics, you lie about why your site is going down, you lie about city officials, and you lie about your own importance to the world in general.
What irks you about me is that I call you on it.

Tim, I never once said I read the letter. I simply stated what "Chris" told me directly. He didn't seem to happy with you and he told me the letter was two pages long and he didn't feel like reading the entire thing so he deleted it. Why do you always twist things around? The main key here is, I am not, nor never was, the other fighting4th and I alone proved that. You and your people put me in a very awkward position to prove almost the impossible and I did it. Nice try but once again you're the loser.

Runaround Sue, First, I never said you read the email. Second, you admit that you repeated a charge which you chose not to verify or substantiate? Of course, that is your modus operandi. You did it again today with the Bob Cannon and the Mayor. You constantly do it. In doing so, you show you that are supremely ignorant on a wide range of subjects, most notably, how to actually report news and not just innuendo. Third, we only challenged you because you said you were going go after the "fake" and expose them. No one twisted anything around. That you chickened out and did not hold them accountable on your site says more about you than them. As far as I am concerned, you haven't "proven" anything to anyone. Your claim to have proven it and what you did is totally unverifiable. Not unlike the ongoing absurdity of your claims that Chief Webster is stalking you. Fourth, they aren't "my people". I couldn't tell you who any of those people are. Wouldn't know them if I saw them on the street. Finally, if I am such a loser, why do you keep coming here? The fact is that you (and your reputation) cannot stand the scrutiny. You do a horrific job of investigating or vetting most of the "news" you post, and it obviously bugs the living hell out of you when you are called on it.

Does anyone know what happened in court today? I hope someone got some pictures. Talk about twisting things. He comes over to my blog and says that my poll is about Shutting the Moron's blog down. That is not on the poll, so I guess he is calling himself names. Plus "Someone" posted a bunch of trash repeatedly. I'm still checking the other blogs to see if they have been attacked similarly. I don't believe Joe one bit. In my contact with Chris Rathel he was very candid and responsive.

Good for you Gunpowder! JJ, it seems, hates having the light spotlighting his lies, half truths, and innuendos. It seems like JJ is running around the blogosphere shoring up his "position" because people are bringing the truth to light.
