Do you know that there are STILL people living in FEMA trailers in the Katrina storm zone?  What in the hell?  Now, I know that there is a shortage of construction workers across the whole south, and that is part of the holdup.

But why not just move these people?  Yes, it totally sucks that their homes were destroyed.  But it happens, and nothing the Federal Government could have done could have prevented that.  So let's move these poor people to another part of the country where there are houses, move them in, and get them jobs.

Since loan defaults are up, there are allegedly going to be hundreds of thousands of houses going up for auction.  Let's use them for something useful. These poor people need homes, not Winnebegos.
