I have to admit that I am slowly toward more actively supporting Senator John McCain in his bid to become President.  His pick of Sarah Palin was audacious and bold.  In my opinion, it was a finger right in the eye of the libtard Democrat Party.  If he let's "Palin be Palin" (in the words of Bill Kristol), he could end up winning a clear and convincing victory over Obamiden.

Why am I still holding back?  I still have some serious trust issues with the Senator.

Since Jihad Joe Mahmoud Albero has decided to plagiarize other writer's material (like his fellow Delamoron Slo Joe Biden), we have updated our Maryland Cyber Terrorism Threat Level widget.  We now have an indicator for "Plagiarist".  I suspect this will be our most utilized indicator aside from "Dumbass".

For more information on how you can implement our Maryland Cyber Terrorism Threat Level widget, read our Widgets Page.

I borrowed the title for this post from a chapter in Burke Davis' seminal biography of Robert E. Lee, The Gray Fox, because I think that with his choice of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin to be the Vice Presidential Nominee, he has been bold, forceful, and audacious.

It is the entire opposite of the choice Barack Obama made a week ago.  But it is a choice that is fraught with risk and rich with reward.

Well, Pizza Hut is whiffing it big time.  I got home from my weekly trip "down the road" to pick up my cigars.  I was pretty hungry on why way home, so I started thinking about what I wanted to eat.  When I got to the house, and kicked on the TV, they were running a commercial for their Tuscani Pastas.  So I said to myself, "Self, I think pasta sounds good. I can save the leftovers for tomorrow and Monday. What a bargain!"

Uh, no.

I'll have more to say later on about the Sarah Palin pick for VP, but I want to say one thing right now:  I consider Governor Sarah Palin a hero.

Barack Obama is trying guarante that his Messianic presidency will bring about "world class education" to America.  It's no wonder he needed to hold his acceptance speech at Invesco Field:  no other Colorado venue could hold his ego.

As if there were not enough already, last night I clicked over to the Dumbass National Convention to see what was happening.  It was the post-coital aura after Joe Biden's speech, and what were they playing in the Pepsi Center?

"We Are Family" by Sister Sledge.  Now, if you were diehard Orioles fan in 1979, you know that this was the "theme song"  of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

And it is now, yet another reason to despise the Democrats if you are an Orioles fan.

Russia is bound and determined to re-establish the Soviet Hegemony over Southern and Eastern Europe.  That is clear from today's decision to officially recognize the breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.  Their stark aggression in Georgia this past month is nothing less than aggressive war -- the kind of war launched by Stalin and Hitler sixty nine years ago in Poland.

We are most certainly facing at least a new Cold War, if not a new Hot War.  And we need a new strategy to confront a new enemy using old tactics.

The ChiCom Games are over, and Michael Phelps will certainly be lauded in Rogers Forge for his amazing accomplishment.  But we should never forget that those gold medals were forged in a crucible of blood, fear, and tyranny, and that they were won on crushed bones and torn flesh of millions of Chinese -- born and unborn -- who dared not to tow the facist, totalitarian line of the modern China founded by a pedophile.

When Barack Obama made the statement at the Saddleback Civil Forum that he would not have nominated Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court because he lacked the experience to be a justice, I laughed.  Out loud.  It was, frankly, a case of the pot calling the kettle black.  (Yeah, I know that sounds racist.  Which it is why it is all the more appropriate.)

Clarence Thomas was a cum laude graduate of Holy Cross College, and a graduate of Yale Law School.  He served as Assistant Attorney General for Missouri, corporate attorney for Monsanto, Assistant Secretary of Education in the Office of Civil Rights in the Department of Education, Chairman of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and as a judge on the US Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia -- the 2nd highest court in the United States.

Which makes Obama's statement ridiculous and his pick of Joe Biden all the more interesting.
