From Cockesyville Precinct Commander Marty Lurz:

Special Attention to residents of the northern portion of Precinct 7 - Upper Parkton, Bentley Springs, Five Forks, and residents of Bentley Road and Cameron Mill Road:

Folks,

We are asking for the area residents' help in identifying those responsible for a recent rash of destructions of property in these areas, all of which seem to be occurring after dark. We are investigating several incidents involving mailbox-bashing, theft of lawn ornaments from front yards, destruction of lawn ornaments, etc. In a recent incident, the person/s responsible used a tube of caulk to write on driveway surfaces and cars. We have increased patrols of these areas but the subjects responsible have not been identified.

Past experience has shown that many times word travels through the community as to who may be responsible for these acts, but folks don't always realize the extent of the damage and the effect it has on the entire community and don't come forward with the information. If any residents are aware of the identity of the person/s responsible, or has reason to believe that someone may be responsible, please call the Precinct 7 Investigative Services Team at 410-887-1823 or the Precinct 7 Community Outreach Team at 410-887-1863. You do not have to provide your name. We will follow-up on any information provided.

Meanwhile, be aware of these incidents and stay alert to suspicious noises and activity. Please - don't hesitate -call 911 to have a patrol car dispatched to investigate. If a license tag number of a suspicious vehicle can be safely obtained, provide that to the 911 operator.

Thanks for your continued cooperation.

Captain Martin Lurz
BCoPD Precinct 7

I have said it before, and I will say it again:  markets always seek equilibrium.  Just as nature abhors a vacuum, markets abhor an imbalance.

And no matter what the Demcrats do to try and bring back the 70's with their Energy Bill, nothing will change the rules of economics.

At the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, a Mrs. Powell of Philadelphia asked of Dr. Ben Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

Dr. Franklin replied verbosely, "A republic, if you can keep it"

Today, we have lost it, as "the world's most deliberative body", conspiring with a White House desperate for a legacy that doesn't involve Iraq, has abdicated its role as the "saucer that cools the cup" and sends the nation careening into a shamnesty nightmare of epic proportions with the full power to devolve American culture and forever strip us of our unique identity as a "shining city on a hill".

John McCain is the high priest on political corruption and the nefarious influence of money in politics, if you listen to the mainstream "drive-by" media.  He should know.  His involvement in the Lincoln Savings and Loan Scandal as one of the Keating Five has been dramatically covered up for almost twenty years, but in covering for the head of Lincoln Savings and Loan's Charles H. Keating is pretty well documented by sources outside the MSM and represents the very corruption he claims to loathe (now that Keating's campaign contributions don't flow anymore).

But the problem never was Keating's money.  It was a lack of character in a career politician class that lacks the fundamental standards of decency exhibited by so many of the Americans they claim to represent.  Career Politicians like Senator John McCain.

Harry Reid, that low-talking mealy-mouthed motherfrakker from Nevada and Senate Majority Leader has successfully attached an amendment to the energy bill that would raise CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards for all cars, trucks, and SUVs to 35 mpg by 2020.

Why doesn't he just pass a law that kills us all right now?

Everday on (insert major media outlet here) we are treated to a cacophony of voices that consistently work to blame Big Oil and the Bushes (not to mention Dick Cheney and Halliburton) for the high price of gasoline.

But when Congress has the chance to do really do something about it, what do they do?  Hide under their desks like a set of baby boomers practicing duck and cover drills in school.

I've generally stayed off the "pick on Joe Albero" train on this site lately, because frankly, I don't think there is any value to it.

But Joe's hypocrisy lately demands a reasonable comment.

We have heard for years that our detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba-- officially known as "Camp X-Ray" -- is a horrific holding pen that brutalizes and terrorizes its captives.  Of course, those captives are held there for fighting an illegal war outside the bounds of the Geneva Convention.  They are universally "illegal combatants" under that "holy grail" of a document.

Well, it turns out that Guantanamo Bay may not be a hell-hole after all.

I am not one to go out defending President Jorge Bush these days, but this article from the Calvert Street Communist Party Newsletter is particularly disturbing.

According to Congressman Elijah Cummings (Panderer -- Maryland), the death of a boy from a tooth infection that spread to his brain is Jorge Bush's fault.

Umm, no.

A crisis is brewing Salisbury. It turns out the city is SOOO broke, it cannot afford to take ownership of half of the Government Office Building it shares with Wicomico County Government.  It cannot even contribute to the upkeep of the building -- including replacement of the boiler.

What to do?

The "myth" that the Bush II White House values "loyalty" above all else, has been shattered in recent weeks.

The truth is that George W. Bush, like any second-term President is as hungry for a "legacy" as anyone other worthless elected official.

And he keeps proving it.

But that wasn't the end...
