If you pay your mortgage (or like me, your rent) on time, if you work hard to pay your bills on time, if you delay gratification by putting of purchases of nice things, this story in the Baltimore Sun is going to raise your blood pressure, as Jamie Smith Hopkins tries to turn a liar and a moron in a tragic character.
The only tragedy here is that there are no laws to permanently prevent the idiot in this article – Wallace Farmer – from ever buying a house or getting a loan again.

In her latest feminazi screed featured in the Baltimore Sun, Jean Marbella fully endorses the full-blown European Socialist Nanny State bullshit that Baltimore Sun columnists are known far and wide for. The same European Socialist Nanny State bullshit that makes the Baltimore Sun a complete laughing stock in journalism circles.
This time she takes on the Baltimore City Council for deciding to back off on the proposed beverage tax.

Jean Marbella is a columnist that only a Baltimore Sun editor could love. She strikes out more than Sammy Stewart. Her latest column, “Flight 253 and Sarah Foxwell: The same lesson” in today’s Sun is no exception. The point of her column, summarized nicely by the headline writer is that “We are our own first defense”.
Well, that might be true, but it is far from “the lesson” in trying to compare these two horrific incidents. There are actually many lessons.
